Pressure Converter FAQs

Are pressure conversions calculated in JavaScript?

No. JavaScript only updates the interface and sends the conversion request. The server validates the selected units and calls GNU Units.

What do mmHg and inHg mean?

They are pressure units based on columns of mercury: millimeters of mercury and inches of mercury. The dropdown shows friendly labels while submitting the curated GNU Units tokens.
