Explanations
The Soccer Statistics Calculator computes common goalkeeper, offensive, and team win statistics from the values you enter.
Saves are shots on goal faced minus goals allowed. Save percentage is saves divided by shots on goal faced. Save-to-goal ratio compares saves with goals allowed.
Scoring percentage is team goals scored divided by team shots on goal. Goal-to-shot ratio compares goals scored with shots on goal.
Win percentage is wins divided by wins plus losses. This version does not include draws because the surviving original calculator only provided wins and losses.
Soccer Statistics FAQs
What is save percentage in soccer?
Save percentage is the percentage of shots on goal faced that the goalkeeper saves.
Save Percentage = Saves ÷ Shots on Goal Faced × 100
How are goalkeeper saves calculated?
Saves are calculated by subtracting goals allowed from shots on goal faced.
Saves = Shots on Goal Faced − Goals Allowed
What is the save-to-goal ratio?
The save-to-goal ratio compares the number of saves with the number of goals allowed. For example, 8 saves and 2 goals allowed produces a simplified ratio of 4:1.
If no goals were allowed, the calculator displays “No goals allowed” instead of dividing by zero.
How is scoring percentage calculated?
Scoring percentage is the percentage of a team’s shots on goal that result in goals.
Scoring Percentage = Team Goals Scored ÷ Team Shots on Goal × 100
What is the goal-to-shot ratio?
The goal-to-shot ratio compares goals scored with shots on goal. For example, 3 goals from 10 shots produces 3:10.
How is win percentage calculated?
Win percentage is calculated by dividing wins by the total number of wins and losses.
Win Percentage = Wins ÷ (Wins + Losses) × 100
Does this calculator include drawn matches?
No. This version follows the fields from the original Calculator.com Soccer Statistics Calculator and uses only wins and losses.
A team with draws will need to decide whether to exclude them or include them in a separate manual calculation.
Can I calculate only goalkeeper or only offensive statistics?
Yes. The goalkeeper and offensive/team sections work independently. You do not need to complete every field.
